OHAMADIKE SETS LESSON FOR NIGERIAN POLITICIANS - Part 2

There  is no doubt that  Chief  Sir Victor Umeh OFR, Ohamadike Ndigbo beyond  every  doubt won  the previous  Anambra Central senatorial election based on the pooling  unit results collection but was robbed -off  by the PDP using  federal might however, the mandate  seemed not comfortable  in their  hands, likely to that  of a child  being  handed what  is undeserving or too hot for his palm, he would surely let go of it. Ohamadike, though  disenfranchised of the mandate the  people  of Anambra  Central unanimously  entrusted into  his hand  remained focused and courageous while patiently sought  justice  through the judiciary.

Subsequently, the child has given up the franchise  for  the  rightful owner  as the Appellate Court in its judgment  nullified  the controversial election and ordered for a fresh election within 90days. Following  this judgment, the major opposition party (PDP) which is the main victim in the judgment and the other (APC) which were disqualified by INEC for their inability to field fresh candidates following the resignation of their authentic candidate, (Dr. Chris Ngige) who is now a minister of the Federal Republic; Ohamadike has once again innocently carried out the business of mobilizing the grassroots and voters awareness irrespective of the fact that there are no strong opposition and the continued support/endorsements and solidarity he has been receiving from various spheres of the zone.

One does not have to argue that the name Chief Sir Victor Umeh, Ohamadike Ndigbo and/or the "long red-capped man" is not new in the Nigerian politics just as the bearer is not a novice or irrelevant in the affairs of Anambra state, Nd'igbo and Nigeria in general as he has once been the National Chairman of APGA for about ten (10)  years with various remarkable achievements. His laudable achievements in the National Conference and his campaign for equity/justice for the Igbos in Nigeria can never be over emphasized yet his humanitarian and personal rapport with the grassroots... Only the mention of his name rings bell; his presence sends enough signal and enough representation of a true Igbo man.

Whilst the collapse of the federal might, the PDP and others were busy throwing tantrum, fighting and threatening the peace and safety of the people; Ohamadike rather remain with the people, reaching out to them, honoring their invitations, listening to them and helping them in every necessary ways. He does not keep empty, even with the opposition, those who believes to be fighting him; visiting them and enjoying good leisure with them.

Ohamadike is a man who understands the importance of the grassroots and regards their relevance in the political business thus, instead of hoping on the federal government, the INEC or the Army for possible manipulation of the electoral process or thuggery; he goes any possible distance in mobilizing the electorates using the APGA grassroot structure with which he has enthroned several politicians across the federation (including governors, National Assembly and State Houses of Assembly members).

Chief Sir Victor Umeh is a man who commands respect with high integrity and inimitable reputation /charisma. He does not indulge in politics of "pull him down" or character assassination; sentiments or self aggrandisement; selfishness or desperation... Ohamadike understands the antics in politics and deliberately implements it thereby stands out amongst average Nigerian politicians. He is patient, compassionate and at the same time persistent in pursuance of his political ambitions.

Unlike others, Ohamadike understands the basic needs of his people and the matching solutions for them... His interest in the Senate does not have to do with love for money because he is already wealthy, not for power because as the former National Chairman of APGA, he is already powerful; Ohamadike is not seeking for fame or relevance because he has achieved enough fame for himself (a recipient of the prestigious award of member Order of the Federal Republic by former President Goodluck Jonathan GCFR) but for a better platform to address the lingering challenges of the Igbos in Nigeria and to use his God given endowment (which includes boldness, eloquence and courage) to defend the voiceless /marginalized Igbos and the poorly represented.

Ohamadike is a man who believes greatly in due process, with great confidence in the judiciary; no wonder he has achieved great success through such means. His love for God is indescribable and his love for humanity (humanitarian services) surpasses every other. No wonder he was able to work at ease with the late Igbo leader Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, Ezeigbo Gburugburu. One can also adjudge that his close relationship with Ojukwu (who was before his dead, the leader of the party while Ohamadike was the National Chairman) informed his outstanding characteristics thereby possessing similar characteristics and love for Ndigbo.

At this juncture ladies and gentlemen, it is crystal clear that Ohamadike has set ample examples /lesson for Nigerian politicians who often carry bitterness and hatred in their political endeavors.

Support the candidacy of Chief Sir Victor Umeh, Ohamadike Ndigbo n'ile for a better representation of Anambra Central and Igbos in general.
