BREAKING NEWS - Senator Dr Chris Nwabueze Ngige reaffirms his choice of Ohamadike for Senate Anambra Central says he is God-sent.

The former Senator of Anambra Central senatorial district and Minister for Labour and Employment, Chief Dr Chris Nwabueze Ngige yesterday (Saturday 13th February 2016) reaffirmed that Chief Sir Victor Umeh, Ohamadike Ndigbo is the best choice for Senate Anambra Central.

Senator Chris in the usual happy mood with his successor, Senator (in waiting) Sir Victor Umeh stated that Ohamadike is a name that ' rings like bell' all over Nigeria. He pointed out some great achievements of Ohamadike in the past describing him as a man with burning passion for the well being of Ndigbo; a dogged fighter of Igboland.

"Ohamadike agwalum gi na obulu uche Chukwu na iga eje Senate na onweronata ihe ge egbochi gi; ugbua ona ha emezu (Ohamadike i told you that if its God's will that you should go to the Senate, nothing can hinder you from getting there; now the my word is coming into fruition) " - Dr Chris Ngige recounting an incident that occurred when Ohamadike paid him condolence visit for his father's funeral. He also made clear that he as Minister of the federal Republic needs (a strong force) Chief Sir Victor Umeh in the Senate so that they will both represent Ndigbo better.

The two great Igbo icons and emancipator of Anambra politics were at the family of Okonkwo to identify with Chief Aloysius Okonkwo Ide Ifitedunu (Aloy-Standard) as they bury their mother, Late Mrs Cecilia Nwugo Umebee Okonkwo (Ugegbe Nwanyi) Nee Ofoedu.
