ANAMBRA CRY FOR HELP as PDP wrestle for mandate

By Charles Ifeanyi Obi

Since after the last supreme Court judgement which affirms Mazi Ejike Oguebego as the authentic Chairman of PDP Anambra  state chapter, the party has returned to its usual state of pandemonium with accusations and counter-accusations as well as elected political office holders of the defunct faction insisting to retain their mandates while the alleged candidates of the Ejike Oguebego faction spitfire...

One can recall that PDP internal rancor is as old as Patio P itself in Anambra state. The same reason why Late Prof Dora Akunyili summoned stakeholders of the party at Emmause house Awka years ago which ended up in power tussle and exchange of blows...

The PDP mess earned Anambra state a "notorious status"  as reported by the media in the year 2011;
" Anambra the state with the nickname, Home for All, has indeed been home to all sorts of notoriety in the recent past. But the state chapter of the PDP atypical of the political trend in the State has found no place for peace at home. Hence stakeholders had to go to Enugu for the inauguration of the latest peace committee to resolve the near decade crisis that has bedeviled the state."  - Vanguard published on August 19th 2011.

NDI ANAMBRA, SHINE YOUR EYES... Oke adighi eri ihe onye muanya... Do not be part of the conspiracy to return Anambra state to the bad-old-days.

Be wise, do not sale your consciences and rights in exchange for peanuts or tokens. Let us maintain the peace and development which the current leadership and party has brought into the state... Let us protect the future for the coming generation.
