BREAKING NEWS - Chief Victor Umeh arrives in grand style amidst jubilation by crowd of supporters

Chief Sir Victor Umeh FNIVS, KSJI, OFR (Ohamadike Ndigbo) this afternoon arrived the Akanu Ibiam International Airport Enugu and was received by a crowd of supporters who had arrived the Airport earlier to receive their Senator.

Address the members of the press, Ohamadike expressed how happy he is to reunite with his beloved ones. He recounted how he was invited in the morning hours of Wednesday by the Director of State Security Service (SSS) in Anambra state and he rushed to honor the invitation but after about two hours of interrogation, the members of the Department of State Security (DSS) moved in and whisked him away in a van.

Ohamadike stated that the special security operatives refused him access to his cell phones and family and friends. He said he was taken by road to Abuja and was detained till the DSS boss brought him in for interrogation on strange allegations concerning the Igbos and MASSOB /IPOB.

"they smuggled me into their van with special forces on my both sides and drove straight to Abuja"- Ohamadike

He revealed that the DSS had earlier received a petition claiming that he (Ohamadike) is sponsoring the MASSOB /IPOB protesters and demanded for his arrest and prosecution. "they accused me of sponsoring IPOB and MASSOB members, they also alleged that I used my campaign to insight the people against the presidency" - he added

Ohamadike also said that the DSS boss interrogating him also noted that he was very concerned on the matter because such a  crime is not expected of a statesman like him. He recalled some of his responses as "I laughed when I heard them read out the allegations because I know they were plans of the opposition, enemies of our dear state. I told them i never did anything like that,  my campaign have remained fair and in conformity with the norms... I never said or did anything against the laws of the nation and I have no plans doing so" - he concluded.

He also recounted the effort of the state governor, Chief Dr Willie Maduaburochukwu Obiano, Akpokuodike Global in ensuring his safety by consistently reaching out to relevant authorities to secure his immediate release. Ohamadike Ndigbo further reassured the people of his unfailing spirit in continuing in his mission to securing a better livelihood for Ndi Anambra and Ndigbo in general pointing out that he rely greatly on the support of his people.

THE BIG QUESTION IS, why then does Uzu-Awka, Peter Obi and Uche Ekwunife resilient on destroying the peace and harmony we've enjoyed over the years in Anambra state...?? Intelligence report has disclosed that the petition which aimed at destroying the life of Chief Sir Victor Umeh were writing by former governor Peter Obi, Hon Uche Ekwunife and Uzu - Awka and their major aim were to terminate Victor Umeh and dethrone the APGA governor for their preferred option.

Ndi Anambra have been urged to be watchful against these men of undisclosed intentions as the future is in our hands.
