APC crisis deepens as House members sues Dogara

The APC members drags Hon Yakubu Dogara to court over House outstanding House election . 

The embattled speaker since assumption of office has continued to discharge his official duties despite protest by aggrieved party members who believe he wasn't the party's choice for the position.

Hon Yakubu Dogara has as well release the list of available positions and the sharing formula on which he conceded the office of Majority Leader and Chief Wip to the Femi Gbajabiamila group.

The details of the list is as follows
1.  House Leader >North West
2. Deputy House Leader > North Central
3. Chief Whip >South South
4. Deputy Chief whip >South East

The APC on the other hand rejected the list and publishes a different list which does not include South East in the sharing and also, fix the Deputy Majority Leader to the South West.

You can recall that on Thursday June 25th  the National Lawmakers turned Lawbreakers.
The lawmakers over disagreement resorted to fighting, throwing chairs at each other.
Our lawmakers paraded themselves as law breakers after a full blown physical battle ensued at the National House of Assembly complex in Abuja.


The fight was caused by the election of House Principal officers which didn’t go well with a faction supporting the ruling party.
Supporters of House Speaker Yakubu Dogara engaged pro-APC lawmakers in a free for all fight after the later accused Dogara of defying the ruling party.

The fight started as soon as Yakubu arrived at the House to commence plenary.
Pro APC lawmakers rushed forward to seize the mace, hence disrupting the plenary session.
The crisis resulted in exchange of blows, missing mace and flying chairs.

One wonders what the nation turns into in near future considering the rate of increasing internal crisis in the ruling party. The President has also made his stand in the prevailing circumstances when he said he'll give less attention to the regions that gave him less votes.
